2003 Salomon Street Skates at adidas Raffles Link

I dropped by the adidas shop at Citilink Mall today and I saw that the entire range of 2003 Salomon Street skates are already in stock.

This is Salomon's premier skate of 2003. The main difference between this skate and the ST 902, besides the S$100 difference in price and the colour scheme, are the bearings and the liner. This skate comes with the Salomon Customfit Liner. That's the one where you can thermoform so that the liner moulds to the shape of your foot. Right now there is only one place in Singapore you can do that and that is the Hvper outlet at East Coast Beach, next to the 7-11(and it's for free!).

Personally, I feel that the ST902 looks better than the ST Vinny Minton. But then, I have always had a fetish for black. The S$100 price difference will definitely sway a lot of rollers to get this model instead of the Vinny's.

Although the ST80 is on the lower end of the price range, this skate was built with the old-school skater in mind. Not everybody rolls softboot so if you are one of those hardboot guys or gals, this skate is for you. Where else can you get a pair of kick-ass current-season street skates for S$359.00 in Singapore?

Do you have small feet? Do you feel you want to pick up street skating? Do you have a budget? Then this skate is for you. At S$259, this skate is a steal. This is Salomon's junior street skate for 2003. The size range is from UK 4.5 to UK 7.5 (which is my size!). I would reccomend this skate for rollers who are just starting out and have a tight budget. It's like a mini-ST80 with a mini price!

Note that if you own a pair of Salomon skates, you can drop by any of the two Hvper outlets to service your skates. They are the authorised "repairer" or so to speak. Because of this, the servicing will either be done for free or for a very low, low fee. The two Hvper outles are located at East Coast Beach and Marina Square Shopping Centre. All the skates above are now available at the adidas shop located at #B1-25/27 Citilink Mall. It's a 5 minute's walk from City Hall MRT Station. Just follow the sign that says "Citilink Mall"(duh).
